    Excellent example of early residential development in Mar Vista. Located in the Ocean Park Heights tract established in 1905; one of the four original tracts that comprised Ocean Park Heights (later Mar Vista). Ocean Park Heights was an upscale residential neighborhood atop Mar Vista Hill; believed to be Los Angeles' first gated community.
