    Significance Statement
    Long-time home of Brooklyn Bagel Bakery; in continuous operation at this location since 1965. This is the second location of the popular local bagel bakery, which was founded by Seymour Friedman in 1953 at 4657 West Adams Boulevard. This location opened in 1965. The bakery supplies bagels to many other popular Los Angeles restaurants such as Canter's Deli and Nate n' Al's. The property appears to meet local criteria only and may not meet significance thresholds for National Register or California Register eligibility.
