    Significance Statement
    Long-time restaurant in Westlake; in continuous operation as the Pacific Dining Car since 1921. Originally constructed at 7th Street and Westlake, the building was moved to this site in 1923. The restaurant interiors were designed to resemble railroad dining cars. The property appears to meet local criteria only and may not meet significance thresholds for National Register or California Register eligibility.
