    Significance Statement
    This was the residence of Sonja Henie, the Norwegian figure skater and film star. She was a three-time Olympic champion (1928, 1932 and 1936). In 1936, she signed a contract with Twentieth Century Fox and became a popular actress. She lived here during the height of her film career. She retired in 1956 and returned to Norway.
