    Significance Statement
    Excellent and rare example of an early medical office building in Westlake. This building was constructed by a group of prominent physicians on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital. The physicians formed a cooperative, The Medical Office Building Company, to build and operate the building. Each of the 33 doctors would occupy a suite of offices designed to meet their specific requirements, including waiting rooms, consultation rooms, examinations rooms, and dressing rooms, all furnished with the necessary equipment for physicians' offices.
