    Significance Statement
    This was one of several places Ludwig Marcuse lived in Greater Los Angeles. Marcuse was a writer and philosopher who fled from Nazi Germany. He taught German literature and philosophy at USC from 1944 to 1961. It could only be confirmed that he lived at this address in 1956. More research is need on Marcuse's association with this property and the other places he lived.
